Who's behind it
I'm Alex, a licensed apartment locator with Relive Realty. I spend my days on Austin's new buildings: what they really cost, which specials are real, and which ones come with a catch.
The tours are filmed by Alexa (@apartmentsbyalexa), a fellow Austin locator who has filmed hundreds of building tours. I do the research and the deal.

Questions renters ask
Is an apartment locator really free in Austin?
Yes. In Texas, apartment communities pay licensed locators a referral fee when a renter signs, so nothing is charged to you and nothing is added to your rent. You pay the same rent you would walking in on your own.
Why use a locator instead of Zillow or Apartments.com?
Listing sites show the asking rent. I show the real monthly cost: base rent, minus the special spread over the lease, plus the required fees. Every building here also has a video tour, so you can rule places out before you spend a weekend touring.
How fast will I hear back?
Usually within a few hours, 8am to 9pm. Most shortlists go out the same day, by text or email, whichever you prefer.
What if I want to tour a building on my own?
That's fine. Tell the leasing office that Alexander Wilton with Relive Realty referred you, before or at your first visit, and text me the unit you liked. Properties only credit the locator who is named on the first visit.
Can you help with bad credit, a broken lease or an eviction?
Often, yes. Some properties approve with a larger deposit, a guarantor or a cosigner, and their criteria are not posted online. Tell me your situation in the form; it stays between us.
What does lease-up mean?
A building is in lease-up from the day it opens until it is close to full, usually the first one to two years. To fill hundreds of empty units quickly, lease-up buildings post the biggest move-in specials in Austin: most buildings on this site are offering eight to ten weeks free. That is why every building on this site opened in 2024 or later.
Do you only cover new buildings?
The buildings on this site opened in 2024 or later, because that is where the biggest specials are. When I build your shortlist I include older communities too if they fit your budget better.
