Southwest Austin is Oak Hill, the Circle C area, Sunset Valley and the US-290 and SH-71 corridor toward Dripping Springs. It is close to the Barton Creek Greenbelt and the Hill Country, with MoPac and 290 for getting into town.
New communities here are mostly larger garden-style buildings and townhome-style homes with attached garages. Expect a drive for most errands and fifteen to twenty-five minutes to downtown.
