Who's behind it
I'm Alexander Wilton, a licensed Austin apartment locator with Relive Realty. I help renters find the right new building, at the real price, for free.

What I do
I'm an apartment locator, which in Texas means a licensed real estate agent who helps renters find and lease apartments. Apartment communities pay my brokerage when you sign, so my help costs you nothing.
Most of my time goes into Austin's new buildings, because that is where the biggest move-in specials are and where the fine print matters most. A building advertising ten weeks free can still cost more each month than an older one down the street once its required fees are added. I do that math for every building on this site, and I show it.
Where the tours come from
The video tours are filmed by Alexa (@apartmentsbyalexa), a fellow Austin locator who has filmed hundreds of building tours. I use them with her permission and add the research: dated rents, specials, fees, pet policies and my honest take.
How I work
You send me what you need. I reply the same day with a shortlist, each building with its tour and real monthly cost. I set up tours, check the deal on the exact unit before you apply, and stay on it until you have keys. I take calls and texts, and email works too.
What I check before you apply
- Which homes the special really covers, and on which lease lengths. "Up to 10 weeks free" often means one or two floor plans.
- The required monthly package: internet, trash, pest control, amenity and parking fees that are not in the advertised rent.
- Application, admin and deposit amounts, and whether a deposit alternative is offered.
- Pet limits for your specific pet, including weight, breed and the number allowed.
- Income and credit criteria, so you don't pay an application fee somewhere that would say no.
- Which lease length prices best. In a lease-up building, a 14 or 15-month lease is often cheaper per month than 12.
Why every building is on video
Listing photos are taken on the best day of a building's life. A walkthrough shows the hallway, the size of the bedroom with furniture in it, the view from the balcony and what is next door. Renters who have watched the tour arrive knowing whether they like a place, so a tour day covers three good options instead of six maybes.
Where I work
All of Austin and the close-in suburbs: North Austin and the Domain, East Austin and Mueller, East Riverside and Southeast Austin, South Austin, downtown, Pflugerville, Round Rock, Cedar Park, Manor and Del Valle. The buildings on this site opened in 2024 or later; when an older building fits your budget better, I include it in your shortlist too.
What I won't do
I won't steer you to a building because it pays more, and I'll tell you when the best option for you is one that doesn't pay locators at all. I won't share your details with anyone except the properties you choose to tour or apply at.
