What you'd really pay
Free weeks are usually credited in the first month or two, but compare buildings on what they are worth spread over the lease. Slide the special and the lease length to see that number.

My take on The Anderson
Between Burnet Road and MoPac on West Anderson Lane, this 2024 mid-rise wraps around a courtyard pool. The video opens on a two-story clubroom under a big gold chandelier, then the heated pool with in-water loungers and cabanas, a sky lounge with floor-to-ceiling windows, a gym with Technogym equipment and a planted courtyard. Homes come in light or dark finish packages with in-home laundry, smart controls and mudroom-style entries.
Base rents from ApartmentList's live feed run $1,582 to $2,140 for a one-bedroom and $2,635 to $2,799 for a two. The special is 8 weeks free on a 13 to 15 month lease, and it excludes the SMART Housing homes. On a 13-month lease at $1,582, that nets out to about $1,357 a month. Add the $110 amenity fee, which covers internet and package lockers, and $15 for parking, and the real starting cost is about $1,482, plus utilities and required renters insurance. ApartmentList puts required fees nearer $171, so I'd confirm the full list.
Burnet Road restaurants are about a 5-minute walk, MoPac is 3 minutes away and the Domain about 10, with downtown around 15 outside rush hour. Anderson Lane is a busy road, so ask for a courtyard-facing home if traffic noise bothers you. The sky lounge is slated for a remodel, so check whether it's open before you tour.
- Worth a look if
- you want a Midtown/Allandale location between Burnet Road and MoPac with underground parking and an 8-week special on a 13-15 month lease
- Look elsewhere if
- you need three bedrooms or want the lowest all-in monthly cost
- The catch
- The $110/mo amenity/internet fee plus parking and required insurance push the real monthly cost well above base rent, and Anderson Lane is a busy arterial. Sky lounge is slated for a remodel.

Does The Anderson have a move-in special?
