My take on Broadstone North Lamar
This 2024 Greystar building at 6709 N Lamar sits in Crestview with about 300 homes. The tour opens in a lobby with a wall-sized moss installation under a slatted wood ceiling, then moves through a double-height lounge with built-in shelves and a long dining table. There is a sky lounge with city views, a coworking space and a pet spa. Homes are one- and two-bedrooms only, with in-unit washers and dryers, and the bedroom in the video looks into the inner courtyard.
Posted market rents are $1,700 for a one-bedroom and $2,434 for a two-bedroom, and those are on 15-month terms, not 12. ApartmentList shows up to 6 weeks free with a minimum term, while the official floor plans show no special, so confirm it. On a 15-month lease, 6 weeks free brings the $1,700 one-bedroom to about $1,543 a month. Add $97.58 in required fees and you are at about $1,641, plus submetered utilities. Garage parking is included, which offsets some of that.
Crestview Station on the Red Line is about a 10-minute walk, and the restaurants along North Lamar and Burnet are about 5 minutes by car. UT and the Domain are about 12 minutes and downtown about 15 outside rush hour, though North Lamar backs up at peak times. Tip: ask for the 15-month price and a 12-month quote on the same unit, because the special may only work on the longer term.
