My take on 1900 Parmer Apartments
Two pools, a two-story gym and a co-working lounge with private meeting rooms are what you get for Tech Ridge rents at this 2024 Fairfield community on East Parmer Lane. It is a four-story garden layout with 364 homes, quartz counters, a washer and dryer in every unit, 9-foot ceilings and French doors out to the balconies. A few one-bedrooms add a den, which helps if you work from home.
These rents come from ApartmentList, quoted on 14 to 18 month terms, because the official site could not be read directly. Studios start at $1,024, one-bedrooms at $1,230 and two-bedrooms at $1,619. With up to 10 weeks free, a $1,230 one-bedroom on a 14-month lease nets about $1,027 a month. Add $30 for valet trash. The rest of the required fee list is not published and utilities are likely extra, so treat that as a floor, not the full number.
Samsung's Parmer Lane campus is about 6 minutes away, the H-E-B and Target at Tech Ridge about 5, and I-35, SH-45 and SH-130 about 4. The Domain is roughly 12 minutes and downtown about 20 outside rush hour. Parmer is a busy road and you will drive for almost everything. Covered parking is $50 a month. Tip: ask which homes the 10 weeks actually covers, because up to usually means only some floor plans.

- you want a 2024-built community with two pools, a two-story gym and co-working space near Samsung, Tech Ridge and the I-35/SH-130/SH-45 interchanges at a lower price than the Domain
- Look elsewhere if
- you need three bedrooms, want walkable dining and nightlife, or want rail/transit-centric living
- The catch
- It is a car-dependent Tech Ridge location on a busy stretch of Parmer Lane, and the full list of required monthly fees is not published (valet trash and covered parking are extra).
