My take on Avilla Vista Ranch
These are rental homes, not apartments. Avilla Vista Ranch is a gated community of about 150 single-story homes on SH 29 east of Liberty Hill, built in 2025, with no shared walls and a fenced backyard behind every home. The tour shows rows of pitched-roof houses around a pool with a tanning ledge and a covered pavilion on stone columns. The bedroom shown has a ceiling fan, a gray accent wall with high transom windows and a walk-in closet. Granite, stainless appliances, plank floors and a full-size washer and dryer are standard.
Prices come from RentCafe because the official site wasn't readable, so treat them as unconfirmed. RentCafe doesn't make clear whether its ranges are base rent or a total with fees. One-bedrooms show $1,350 to $2,236, two-bedrooms $2,028 to $2,686 and three-bedrooms $2,099 to $3,578. The special is up to 8 weeks on select homes, though another listing said 12. At 8 weeks on a 12-month lease, a $1,350 one-bedroom nets about $1,142 a month. Monthly fees aren't itemized anywhere, so I need the fee sheet.
Downtown Liberty Hill is about 8 minutes, US-183 about 5 and Georgetown about 20. The Domain is about 32 minutes and downtown Austin about 45, so this suits a commute that stays in Williamson County. Tip: tour in person since they do daily self-guided tours, and ask which homes the special covers.

- you want a detached single-story rental with your own fenced yard and no shared walls, plus a pet policy with no breed or size limits, and you are comfortable living out on the SH 29 corridor
- Look elsewhere if
- you commute into central Austin every day, or you want an apartment with an elevator, structured parking or walkable retail
- The catch
- It is far out, about 32 miles northwest of downtown Austin, so expect long car commutes, and listing sites disagree on the special (8 vs 12 weeks) and on whether advertised prices include fees.
